Dear Patrons,
Thank you very much for your invaluable support to the Rwandan Youth Development and Voluntary Organization, which assists community health workers in Rwanda. It is a great honor to have you with us!
I am pleased to share our plans for this summer, from July to October 2024. Our organization intends to conduct training sessions and workshops on infectious disease prevention and control, targeting 200 community health workers in the Burega sector of Rulindo district. These events will also include practical sessions and simulation exercises. To accomplish this, we require immediate funding of $2,000.
Dear Patron, in Rwanda, community health workers (CHWs) serve as the primary point of contact for patients, including children, pregnant women, and individuals with chronic illnesses. Ensuring that these workers are well-trained is crucial for enhancing the quality of care. RWAYDAVO has identified significant gaps in the prevention and control of infectious diseases, as well as a shortage of basic sanitation supplies and personal protective equipment for CHWs. Without adequate training and protection, CHWs are at a heightened risk of contracting and spreading infectious diseases, potentially leading to dire consequences for the community.
To maintain the momentum of our work, we kindly request your generous donations to support this project. Your continued support is essential for achieving our goals, and we cannot do it without you.
Kind regards
Rwaydavo president
