Support Community Health Workers in Rural Area

Dear Donor,

We hope that you are doing well, your family members and your loves ones are safe and healthy during these challenging and unpredictable times. 

COVID-19 continues to disrupt our daily lives, thanks to your overwhelming generosity! $1,137 were raised during the September 2020 Accelerator. Your donations let Rwandan Youth Development and Voluntary Organization ( RWAYDAVO) volunteers distribute surgical masks, hand sanitizers, Infrared thermometers and provided health education to the Community Health Workers to stop the spread of the virus.

Thanks to your support, masks, hand sanitizers and Infrared thermometers have been distributed to 160 Community health workers (CHWs), pictured here, however only a very small number (10 CHWs) received Infrared thermometers. These Community Health workers expressed their gratitude for your support that is keeping them safe.

We greatly appreciate your ongoing support that makes it possible to provide masks, and hand sanitizers and Infrared thermometer as well as health education.

We are preparing to do more fundraising to coincide with Giving Tuesday, which is December 1 this year.  We always appreciate current gifts, but if you are thinking of making a year-end contribution or encouraging your friends to do so, Giving Tuesday will be a great time to help.
