Regular Training "Infection Prevention and Control
![]()
Dear Patrons,
Thank you very much for the valuable support to Rwandan Youth Development and Voluntary Organization ,
It is our honor to have you!
I would like also wish to share with you that currently we are organizition two days workshops on Infection prevention and control , this workshop will be attended by 150 community health workers in Rulindo district. There will be also Practical , similation exercises.
In Rwanda, Community Health Workers (CHW) are the first health contact for patients, children, pregnant woman, people with chronic diseases etc. Having well trained community health workers will definately improve the quality of care.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have highlighted gaps in infection control and prevention and control as well as lack of basic sanitation supplies and personal protective equipment for CHWs, especially those based in rural communities. If CHWs are not protected and well skilled, they are at the highest risk of contracting any infectious diseases and spread it to the rest of the community, leading to catastrophic outcomes.
To be able to conduct two days workshop, we need an immediate expense.
We request you to donate generously for our project so that we can keep working and achieve our goals.
Your support will continue to support this project, and we can not achieved our goals without your support.
Kind regards
Rwaydavo president
Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana
