The impact story of Gayathri of Cuddalore school
is a shining example of the impact of our scholarship
scheme in the lives of many unfortunate students
who but for Ishavishya would have spent their
childhood as child laborers. Her father a chronic
alcoholic never took care of his family.
To make the matter worse one day he is in inebriated
condition quarreled with his father and in a fit of rage,
he hit his father and the poor man died due to head
injury and he was forced to be behind the bars. When
he was released on bail his life became miserable due
to the constant criticism of his villagers and so he
committed suicide.
The poor girl losing both father and grandfather at a
short interval became depressed and was inconsolable.
Our teachers and her classmates are very supportive
and helped her to overcome her grief. Now her mother
hies for hundred days job since being uneducated she
has no other alternative.
The girl was previously in the educational scholarship.
Seeing her plight our scholarship came to her rescue
and she has been given a full education scholarship.
But for this help, she would not have continued her
studies. Thanks to our generous donors who with their
support are paving the way for the bright future if many
unfortunate children.
