Soundarya wants to become a doctor!

Soundarya studies in 3rd grade
in Tuticorin Isha Vidhya school.
She lives in Kootampuli with her
parents and her younger sister.
Soundarya’s father is a daily wager.
Her mother is a house wife. Her
sister also studies at Isha Vidhya
in 1st grade. Soundarya joined
Isha Vidhya in lower kindergarten.
Soundarya wants to become a
doctor. She is willing to help the poor
if she becomes a doctor. Soundarya
has beautiful handwriting. She loves
to play hopstoch. Her best friend is
Banupriya. They joined the school
together.
Soundarya is very happy to study
at Isha Vidhya. She is very thankful
for the scholarship.

Abinaya's aspiration to become an Engineer!

Abinaya has been studying at Tuticorin
Isha Vidhya school from her lower
kindergarten. She is from a very poor
family. Her father is a supervisor and her
mother is a home maker. They had a
chance to educate their children under
scholarship in English medium because of
Isha Vidhya.
Abinaya wants to score good marks to achieve
her aim of becoming an Engineer. She is good
in the subject of Physics. She likes Physics very
much, and is always curious in getting her
doubts cleared with her teacher.
Abinaya is good at playing throwball. She
spends her free time reading books in the
school library. She is very happy and shares
that she has got a wonderful opportunity to shine.
She says that she will work hard and use this
chance to get ahead in life. She is thankful to all
those who has put their effort in educating her!

Devasena's courage towards facing life

Devasena of Salem school
This is the story of Devasena studying 10th grade
in Salem Isha Vidhya school.
Devasena is courageous and determined by nature.
She is studying at Isha Vidhya since her 4th grade.
She is from a poor family. She lost her father when
she was 8. Her mother earns and supports the family.
Devasena shared a few things that she found valuable
and precious at Isha Vidhya. The first thing is Power
English, which she likes very much. In sports, she likes
to play throw ball. She feels that her physical strength
has been improved by the yoga taught at the school.
In terms of social skills, she appreciates that she has
learnt life skills, how to solve problems, how to behave
with elders, etc.
Devasena feels that Isha Vidhya is her second home!
She thanks Isha Vidhya for sponsoring her education!
