Online Classes: Logeshwari's sharing
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader

Logeshwari
“I really miss school. I want to meet my teachers.
In the online classes, I don't know how, but they
make sure I understand everything. But I still want
to be in the classroom.” recounts Logeshwari, from
12th grade. She goes on to cheerfully remembering:
“Attending the school assembly gives me a sense
of peace, and being in school with friends and
teachers is so much more fun.”
Logeshwari feels that she will do well in exams
despite the challenges of the lockdown as her
teachers are giving her the same attention as they
did in the classroom. “I find it easy to share my
thoughts and interact with my classmates,
teachers, and guest experts, without limitations.
What I like best about the online classes are the
motivation sessions of the Get Mentored sessions,
the live Zoom classes, and the Hero group activity”,
she declares. She is sure when she says, “I want to
score well in the final exams and take up Bachelor
of Commerce (B.Com) in the college next year.”
All the best, Logeshwari, may you achieve all that
you have set your focus on!

Niranjana: A Happy Student With An Ambition!
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader
![Niranjana with her family]()
Niranjana with her family
Niranjana wakes up early in the morning
and gets ready for school. Armed with the
lunch prepared by her mother, Niranjana
and her brother Haripriyan cycle to their
school, located about two kilometres away
from her village near Villupuram, Tamilnadu,
India.
As a farmer’s daughter, Niranjana knows
education is the only way to uplift herself
and her family. She aspires to become a
district collector (administrator) one day,
a government position that is held in high
esteem by many in rural Indian communities.
“My favorite subjects in the school are Tamil
and English. I also enjoy the lab activities
during Science lesson. I am happy I am not
being a burden to my parents and I can study
without worrying about our financial
situation,” Niranjana said. Niranjana’s
mother said her daughter tells her
everything that goes on in her school.
“Without fail, she would update me about
what took place in the school, the projects
she is working on, what her classmates did,
and what her teachers taught in school.|
She is a very hardworking child and I am
proud of her. Without the sponsorship, it
would have been a financial burden for my
family as with the income we get from the
paddy fields, we may have to decide which
child we should support to stay in school.
But now, we don’t have to choose,” she said.
We are glad that Niranjana could get quality
education and aspire for a great career. We
are extremely grateful that we are able to
make a difference in the life of several Indian
rural girl children. It would have not been
possible without the support from patrons
like you. A big thank you for all you have
done for Isha Vidhya!
If you have not done so already, you can
consider starting a recurring monthly donation
for a small amount to continuously be engaged
with this effort. The link to start a recurring
donation is:

We look forward for your continuing support!

An inspiration from Saranya, Isha Vidya student
By Venkat Ramakrishnan | Project Leader

Saranya - Isha Vidhya student
Dear Patrons,
It is not a one-way road when the
students take inspiration from the
adults. The adults also take inspiration
from students who excel and shine
in their studies!
One such story is of Saranya from
Isha Vidhya Coimbatore school. Saranya
is a first-generation school-goer who
joined Isha Vidhya in kindergarten
on sponsorship, and was consistently
a good student. She went on to complete
her school education in flying colors
when she scored 93.3% in 12th grade
public examinations! It is worth
mentioning that Saranya was one of
the toppers at Isha Vidhya in the 10th
grade public examinations too!
“The encouragement given by my
teachers, family, and my friends made
me study hard and get good marks”,
shares Saranya.
We strive hard to generate next-generation
citizens through quality education.
Participation in this effort by patrons
like you is so important. We thank you
for your contributions to Isha Vidhya,
which enabled sponsorships for students
like Saranya.
If you would like to be continually
engaged in supporting the education
of rural girl children, you can consider
starting a monthly recurring donation
for a small amount. The link to start
a recurring donation is:

We thank you for everything that you
have done for Isha Vidhya, and we
