Extra! Extra! The two projects below qualify for both TODAY'S proportional match and a 50% ADDITIONAL MATCH from the Safer World Fund at GG!!  It's a Win-Win!

1155 Fast Tracking Education for Afghan Women and Girls

1073 Save Rural Afghan Women and Girls with Healthcare

Computing is always a popular class at any Learning Center that is able to provide it.  So far in 2018, 495 students in Herat have studied computers including 241 females and 254 males.  In the Kabul area there have been 350 computing students this year.

One student said, “I am Ubadullah and I have been very interested to learn computers for a long time. My economic situation is not good, we are poor and my father is a farmer. One day a friend said, “There is a course that teaches computers and English and it is free. If you want to you can go there”.  I have studied there for four months now.  I am able to type and make charts in the computer, I want to especially thank Professor Sakena Yacoobi who has provided such opportunity for Afghans children.”

Thank you for your support!
