In the Philippines, YOUMEWE extends its exemplary Code Dojo lessons, mirroring the successful implementation seen in Japan. Collaborating with children from orphanages across the Philippines, our initiative fosters the creation of impressive games and applications. Complementing the Code Dojo curriculum, we integrate Night ZooKeeper to enhance their literacy skills. The onset of the global pandemic in 2020 led to an unprecedented two-and-a-half-year closure of schools in the Philippines, significantly impacting the educational progress of children. YOUMEWE diligently strives to reinvigorate their learning journey and bridge the educational gap.
In Japanese orphanages, YOUMEWE delivers coding sessions emphasizing project development and personal growth. A distinctive feature of our Code Dojo program is our emphasis on encouraging young learners to conceive and craft their games and applications before each session. We firmly believe that fostering creativity and ownership not only bolsters self-assurance but also broadens their horizons for prospects. Throughout our engagement, the children under our guidance have created a plethora of remarkable games and apps, underscoring the immense potential residing within all orphaned children. These resilient and industrious youngsters are poised for remarkable achievements; all they require is the nurturing support they rightfully deserve.
This week, we're thrilled to be part of the GlobalGiving Little By Little campaign! With your support, we can make a huge impact through small acts of kindness. For every donation, GlobalGiving is offering a 50% match, up to $50. That means your contribution goes even further in transforming lives! Let's show the power of community and make a difference in the lives of these students. Join us in spreading hope and empowerment. Every little bit counts!
