Hi All,
Bravo to Ernest Taho who has traveled to homes throughout the Hopi and Navajo reservations to install water filters designed by Clean Water Foundation. BECAUSE OF YOUR AMAZING SUPPORT, we have over 300 filters on the reservations!
Our team gathered in Sedona at the end of August to get an update on the situation. and it was such an honor to have 15 members of the Hopi Reservation join us!
Many do not know that the US government has 500 abandoned uranium mines on the Hopi and Navajo Reservations, and every time it rains, toxic water fills the aquafers.
Our team is working on a Virtual Concert to bring attention to this cause. We all prayed for clean fresh drinking water for both reservations When the Hopi began to dance, the sky filled with clouds, and soon the heavens opened and it began to pour down rain! It was incredible!!!
Also in Sedona. we met Tsering Lodoe, who vowed support for the project. He and Martha Childress of Sedona Spotlight radio show are planning to travel to the Reservations with Ernest to get more interviews about the incredible impact this project is making.
The Hopi and the Tibetans are linked, and Loboe sees part of his mission to unite indigenous communities. The day before the Hopi arrived, Buddhist monks blessed this amazing effort. Amazingly as we were there it also began to pour down rain!
He is with our team in Peru right now hand delivering more clean water filters to our indigenous friends in the Andes.
