AIL is always looking for ways to increase literacy among Afghan women and girls. It offers classes in reading and writing, publishes a magazine and supports or provides libraries.AIL has its own magazine and its most recent issue contain articles on a range of topics.The magazine explains that the Afghan Institute of Learning provides services in a variety of sectors including, education, management, leadership, health, job skills, promoting peace awareness and women and children’s rights in most provinces in Afghanistan. One of the core principle of the publication is the rights of women, promoting equality and fairness between people. 

The topics covered included, the role of education in creating stable and lasting peace, equality without discrimination, respect for women, English language importance, how to increase creativity, health and cell phone security. In addition there were articles on, the seasons, current economic situation, bureaucracy, puzzles, poems, volleyball, children’s literature and advice column.The magazine has a wide distribution that includes AIL Learning Centers, clinics and offices and the private schools run by Dr. Yacoobi.
