It has been a very difficult year for our women entrepreneurs. The pandemic has had severe consequences on women-owned small businesses. But thanks to the generosity of our supporters and donors, their dreams were saved from falling apart.
With the pandemic under control and as life gradually returns to normal, while most of them are still struggling to get back on their feet, some are now able work to build their future for themselves, their families and their communities. It is so heartening to see them overcoming the obstacles they faced during the pandemic. They are now able to restart and run their businesses.
Rohina and Saeeda are back into their kitchens, taking orders and supplying food boxes to their customers in their communities. Waheeda and Sundus are back to ordering dresses from wholesalers and selling them from their respective houses to their neighbors who gladly come to purchase them as it saves them the hassle of going to the market in this hot weather.
We hope they continue to run and grow their business beyond the Covid-19 crisis.
Thank you for standing with us to keep their dreams alive!
