Solar Submersible Water Project - District Tharpar

Solar Submersible Water Project – District Tharparkar

Alkhidmat Foundation is proud to announce the successful installation of a Solar Submersible Water Pump in District Tharparkar, one of Pakistan's most water-scarce desert regions.

This life-changing initiative will facilitate 16 families by providing sustainable access to clean drinking water, significantly improving daily life in an area long plagued by drought, extreme heat, and limited water sources.

Why Tharparkar?
Tharparkar is a remote desert region where access to clean water is a daily struggle. Women and children often travel miles in search of water. This project not only reduces that burden but also promotes better health, hygiene, and dignity.

Why Solar?
The use of solar-powered technology ensures eco-friendly, low-maintenance, and uninterrupted water supply — even in off-grid areas where electricity is unavailable or unreliable.

At Alkhidmat, we believe that access to clean water is a basic human right. Our water projects are helping communities across Pakistan live healthier and more secure lives.
