Project Report: Submersible Water Pump Installed in Umarkot
Transforming Lives in Khejrari Hakeem Shah, Umarkot-Sindh
Alkhidmat Foundation is delighted to announce the successful installation of a submersible water pump in the village of Khejrari Hakeem Shah, Umarkot-Sindh. This essential project ensures 72 families now have reliable access to clean and safe drinking water, addressing a critical need in the community.
The availability of clean water is a cornerstone of health and hygiene, reducing the prevalence of waterborne illnesses and improving overall well-being. Beyond health benefits, the new water pump fosters economic development by saving time and effort previously spent on fetching water, allowing families to focus on education, livelihoods, and other productive activities.
This initiative highlights Alkhidmat's unwavering commitment to uplifting underserved communities and creating lasting, positive change. By providing clean water, we are not just meeting an immediate need but also strengthening bonds and laying the groundwork for sustainable community development.
We are deeply grateful to our supporters, including the GlobalGiving community, whose generosity has made this impactful project possible. Together, we are building healthier, more resilient communities.
Thank you for being a part of this life-changing mission.
