Provide School Supplies To 500 Kids In Myanmar!

We are thrilled to share that PFK has been able to deliver our gifts of backpacks filed with and a school uniform to more than 50% of the children in our Myanmar program. This despite the pandemic and political crisis in the country.

Our local team and Chapter Board are awaiting a time to distribute the remaining gifts to our children in Bago and Hmawbi. They will deliver when they believe it is safe for all to venture out this far from Yangon.

Dear PFK Friends,

Our commitment in Myanmar is stronger than ever inthese very difficult times for this country.

As you know, the political crisis continues along with the ongoing pandemic and border closure. All of these issues combined have made it a challenging time for PFK to suppport our children in need.

As I shared in my previous report, PFK was able to secure our school supplies and uniforms for the children in our program, and they are packed up and ready to be delivered. However, the unstable political environment currently makes it very difficult and unsafe for our local team to delvier our gifts to the children. We are in support of the local team's decision to wait until it is safer to be out on the roads to bring our gifts to our children. Our team's safety is paramount and we look to them to determine a "safe" time to make our deliveries.
