Safe home for the victim's domestic violence in BH

During the reporting period, we launched a fundraising campaign in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We started contacting international organizations, local organizations, embassies, institutions and the private sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina. We are currently planning to include public figures in the fundraising campaign in order to collect the necessary money for the construction of a safe house for women and children victims of domestic violence. For now, we managed to get support for the campaign from UNWOMEN in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will be in the form of help in establishing contact with potential donors, as well as a letter of support.

Up to the moment of reporting, in relation to the previous report, our organization has carried out the following activities in connection with the construction of a safe house in Trebinje:

1. The documentation for obtaining a building permit for the construction of a safe house was put into the procedure.

2. The Agreement on the construction of a safe house between the City of Trebinje and our Foundation is being prepared.

This contract will define the relationship between the City and our Foundation because the City also provided part of the funds for its construction. Thanks to those funds, as well as the funds that we collect, we plan to call for a tender for the execution of the first phase of rough construction works.
