Tree Plantation Drive by Aspire College Volunteers in Shadbagh, Lahore
In a powerful display of youth-led environmental action, volunteers from Aspire College joined hands with Alkhidmat Foundation to conduct a tree plantation drive at a local park in Shadbagh, Lahore. With smog levels in Lahore reaching alarming heights, this initiative directly contributes to improving air quality and promoting a greener future.
This activity is part of Alkhidmat's nationwide campaign to combat climate change and environmental degradation. Alkhidmat aims to plant 1 million trees by the end of 2025 under its "Clean & Green Pakistan" initiative.
In 2024 alone, Alkhidmat successfully planted 1.5 million trees across Pakistan, with a major focus on urban reforestation in smog-affected cities like Lahore.
Through partnerships with educational institutions and the dedication of young volunteers, we are working together for a sustainable and healthier Pakistan.
