Alkhidmat’s Green & Clean Pakistan Initiative – 1.5 Million Trees Planted!
Since March 2023, Alkhidmat Foundation has been leading the "Green & Clean Pakistan" initiative, listed on GlobalGiving, to combat climate change and promote environmental sustainability. As part of this ongoing campaign, our dedicated volunteers, university students, and civil society members have planted 1.5 million trees across Pakistan, with 1,000 new trees recently planted in Lahore to tackle severe smog and air pollution.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs):
SDG 13: Climate Action – Reducing carbon footprint and mitigating climate change.
