Since the beginning of the year, we have provided 194 hours of Bulgarian lessons to refugee and migrant children. In March we accepted the first children from Ukraine who started learning Bulgarian with us even before they went to school. We often help parents to communicate with school and other institutions too. We have prepared a special program for one of the children who has specific educational difficulties. We are very happy to see how the children are expanding their Bulgarian vocabulary and have a great desire to speak and show how much they have learned.
We are currently planning a variety of summer activities to engage children in different adventures in addition to the Bulgarian language lessons.
