Help Children in Need to Become Leaders of Change

We bring you a brief update with our latest developments.

We are happy to report that most of the restrictions due to the COVID pandemic are lifted in our areas of operation and we are now able to conduct all our activities normally, in schools, like before. Yay! :)

We continued the activities of developing creativity for both students and teachers, as well as the health education sessions, in the communes Grajduri, Dagâta and Hoceni.

Since the last report, we have completed 138 health education sessions, with over 200 children, 22 creative groups with children, attended by 133 children, as well as 6 creative group sessions with 31 teachers.

We also conducted over 50 sessions of psycho-social counseling with children and 25 sessions of parental education with their parents in Balteni commune, Vaslui county, Lipova commune, Bacau county and Sipote commune, Iasi county.

We bring you a brief update with our latest developments.

We continued the activities of developing creativity for both students and teachers, as well as health education sessions in the communes of Grajduri, Dagâta and Hoceni.

Since the last report, we held 102 health education sessions attended by over 200 children and we organized 22 creative groups with 133 children and 8 creative group sessions with 31 teachers.

We expanded our activities in 3 new communes: Balteni, Vaslui county, Lipova, Bacau county and Sipote, Iasi county. In these disadvantaged rural communities we carry out psycho-social counseling sessions with children and parental education sessions.

Even if at times there were restrictions related to the activities due to the COVID pandemic, we found solutions to keep in touch with the children and their families, doing the activities at their home.

We also delivered Christmas presents. We distributed them in villages: Mâlosu, Valea Hogei, Satu nou  (Bacau County), Oteleni, Barbosi  (Vaslui County),  Sipote, Scheia and Poiana cu cetate (Iasi County). This year our Christmas campaign was really special. The schools were closed in Romania and the children are staying home, so this has brought great joy to them, both our presence, but especially the presents. In some of the villages we did not have the option to gather the children together at a specific location, so we went directly at their homes to deliver the gifts, and we felt like Santa Claus.
