Progress of the Project

By Jean Damascene Uwizeyimana | Project Leader

Dear Esteemed Patrons,

On behalf of the Rwandan Youth Development and Voluntary Organization (RWAYDAVO), I want to express our deepest gratitude for your unwavering support. Your contributions are truly vital to the success of our projects, and without you, none of our initiatives would be possible.

I’d like to take a moment to address the delay in the launch of our "Build a Bright Future for 25 Marginalized Girls" project. While we’ve raised $232 so far, and are incredibly grateful for this generosity, we are still in the process of securing the remaining resources needed to begin the implementation. However, we are hopeful that we will be able to kick off this important project very soon.

This initiative is focused on providing marginalized young girls with technical and vocational training in Sewing, Handicrafts, and Bag Making. These skills will open up opportunities for them to earn a sustainable income, which is essential for supporting themselves and their families.

Looking to the future, our long-term goal is to create a cooperative for the participants where they can collectively generate income and reinvest 50% of their earnings to ensure the project’s sustainability and growth. This model not only empowers individuals but also creates a lasting impact on the community as a whole.

We are deeply thankful for your continued support, which has been instrumental in making this vision a reality. Together, we can make a meaningful and lasting difference in the lives of these young women. We are excited about the progress ahead and look forward to achieving great things with you.

Warm regards,
Jean Damascene UWIZEYIMANA
President, RWAYDAVO
