Educated Girls and women empowerment

Dear Patrons,

Build Bright future for 25 marginalized Girls project helps close the gender gap among vulnerable adolescent girls by helping more girls go to school and complete their education. This is done through school support, including books and supplies, fees, uniforms, food support, transportation, solar lights, tutoring, etc. The mentoring sessions ensure that the girls have the life skills and mindset needed for success. For the 25 out-of-school girls, this project provides vocational training, and business opportunities to ensure progress toward self-sufficiency. A reliable source of income has the power to transform their lives and the lives of their families. As a long-term impact, this project helps girls break out of the vicious cycle of poverty that entraps unskilled and resource-poor girls. At-risk girls are maturing into well-educated, emancipated, gainfully employed, and self-sufficient women. These empowered women are the pillars of their families, communities, and the nation. Educated girls become self-conscious which will be helpful to eradicate the social evils of Rwandan society.

We request you to join hands with us in women's empowerment and donate generously to our Build Bright future for 25 marginalized Girls project so that we can keep working and achieve our goals. You could also consider doing a monthly recurring donation for our project, which will help us to start our project, and he hopes this year we will achieve our goals.

Status of the Project

Dear Patrons,

Thank you very much for all the support you offered Rwandan Youth Development and Voluntary Organization and the Build Bright future for 25 marginalized Girls project.

I would like to share with you the updates on the project and let you know that the project has delayed its activities. In the beginning, this project was planned to train 25 for 6 months, and train 100 marginalized/dropout girls every year. After, the training, we will form a cooperative and start working to generate income.

So far the project is going slowly due to the lack of sewing machines and accessories. We wish also to share with you that we wish to buy 25 machines "SINGER | 4423 Heavy Duty Sewing Machine With Included Accessory Kit, 97 Stitch Applications, Simple, Easy To Use & Great for Beginners" See attached photo 1, and one machine " Juki MO-1000 Overlocker Machine by Juki" see attached photo 2. To be able to purchase those six machines, we need 2600 USD as immediate funds.

I would like to share with you the updates of the project, and the needs to achieve our goals. So far the project is going sowly due to the lack of sewing machine and accessories.
