I am Manju(name changed) a 19 years old girl. My father is a Construction worker. Few years back I was trafficked by my close childhood friend. I was rescued by an organisation of Mumbai and was sent to Jabala for family reunification. At Jabala’s Shelter Home I was imparted in catering management Training. Now I am working as a Canteen hands in Kolkata Police Hospital earning Rs3000 per month. Now I am very happy and looking forward to a bright futurewith my present situation
The program of Economic Rehabilitation of Survivors supported by generous donors like you has really opened a horizon in front of violence survivors. The new entrants in to the institutional care after getting supports are looking forward to lead a positive life and in which they started to believe in after seeing the tangible results. In addition to that the vulnerable family members have been included in the program which not only strengthened the support base also increased the acceptance of the survivors
