We are almost through October which means the count down to our project implementation is drawing to an end. Since our project launch in May with WNBA player Imani McGee Stafford we've been planning and preparing each week for January 2022. One of the things we are working on is the locations for our project and so far we have identified four: Upper East, Upper West, Greater Accra, and Volta Region. We are excited about engaging the girls in these regions providing them with fun and long term activities that will meet their mental and physical wellness needs through basketball.
The name of our project is She Shines and the goal is to engage, equip, and empower girls especially those living in rural and underserved communities. We want to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone who has donated and continue to support us we've got more exciting news coming up soon.
