On the 22nd May 2021 we officially launched the project under the name She Shines. The launch was done by WNBA player Imani McGee Stafford of the Dallas wings in the USA. As part of the launch, she led a total of 6 basketball clinics and workshops in four different regions of Ghana within a period of 7 days. A total of 600 girls were directly empowered through the workshops out of which 108 participated in the basketball clinics. The launch was a great success with participants sharing very positive feedback about their experience. We are looking forward to continuing with more clinics and workshops throughout the year.
