Through our partnership with various volunteer health professionals in the city of Accra we organized a free dental screening and oral health education for 200 children and adolescents at the Ayenya D/A Basic School. The event was led by Dr. Patrick Bannerman-Agbesi and his team who are partners of Impact Youth Foundation. 150 children and adolescents were screened and given free oral health items. Our doctors and nurses present also educated beneficiaries on the importance of oral hygeine and ways to maintain their oral health. We have scheduled periodic dental screening checks for the entire village to help detect and promptly assist with oral health challenges. The event was supervised by our nurse in charge.
