2022-23 Operating Season Begins

By Elissa A. Rowley | Development and Communications Coordinator

Operating Season Begins—YOU make our work possible!

During this season of celebrations, we're thrilled to announce the field teams have left the compound to begin the 2022-23 operating season! Teams will continue providing essential clean water projects in rural communities of great need.

Season Goals Include:

  • 2 water storage and distribution systems
  • 32 new wells
  • 44 rehabilitated wells
  • 78 hygiene education training programs

In addition to the goals above, established partnerships with UNICEF, The Carter Center, and Norwegian Church Aid will continue this year, allowing WFSS to reach even more people with life-saving clean water projects.

Check out the video from the WFSS compound below. Thank you for making this valuable work possible!

Wishing you peace and contentment throughout the year.

We are one village—water connects us all

Inspired by Linda Sue Park’s book "Nya’s Long Walk: A Step at a Time," six-year-old Pippa spent weeks at the end of her family’s driveway to raise money for Water for South Sudan.
