Greetings from ALEY and thank you very much for your support to our initiative providing water supply for children and their families. Water is life and the access to water is becoming difficult as the years go on. The need to devise innovative water supply for poor communities is central to long-term water sustainability. Together with a local partner we are promoting water catchment and storage facilities using available materials and in a cheap and durable manner. One of the methods is the use of what we call ferrocement technology or using iron and concrete to form containers and catchment. We were able to design one unit as model during this reporting period and we hope that communities will adopt this. Thank you very much for your continuing support.
