By Jed Christian Sayre | Project Leader
Dear Friend,
Warm greetings and thank you very much for your generous support to our initiative providing much-needed water for children and their families. They said that the quarrel this century will be caused by the lack of water for drinking and for general use. Aquifers are drying-up and the shortage of water is felt everywhere. Our country is tropical and we have a lot of rainwater that can be conserved for use in the household. We are fortunate to be trained on the gathering of water using large tanks made of iron and concrete and thanks to a local donor we are able to build a unit in one village here. In order for the neighbors not to quarrel we asked them to forge an agreement for the use of the water and for the maintenance of the system. We will closely monitor this as the system operates and provide support when needed. Again, thank you so much for your generous suipport.
Very sincerely yours,
Jed Christian
