Better starts for 40,000 young children in SA

Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to our GlobalGiving supporters for the generosity you have shown to those in need during this very difficult time of Covid –19. In this document you will find a short synopsis of how your donation has been used to assist vulnerable children during this time. Due to the increased need to support ECD Centres across the country, we have focused on reaching young children in 6 provinces. In the attached report you will find the organisation name and meal numbers that have received DO MORE porridge for the young children attending their programme since October 2020. 

Your donation is not just giving a young child the energy to learn every school day, you are encouraging their parents/caregivers to send them back to a stimulating environment and supporting passionate Early Childhood Development practitioners (mostly marginalized women) to keep their learning Centres running so they can continue to nurture and stimulate young minds.
