Dear friends, we are happy to share that this time, thanks to your generosity, 88 families with children from Myrhorod and Kharkiv received food, hygiene and cleaning products worth UAH 78000 (USD 2132.98) during this holiday season. One of these children is a nine-year-old boy, Hlib. His family is forcibly displaced, but the area where they live now is not safe either; it is close to a combat zone. As Hlib’s father is very ill, the family is going through a lot of hardship, emotionally and financially. It was very helpful for them to receive a package with essentials just before the New Year.
Daily life in Myrhorod and Kharkiv has been very challenging for its residents due to constant safety threats from rocket strikes and shelling. Stress, uncertainty and a lack of the basics are a reality for many children in Ukraine. In these difficult times, your help has been very, very important.
Thank you for making this holiday season a little brighter and happier for children in Ukraine! Your help is so much appreciated!
