Dear friends, we are happy to share how your donation helped vulnerable children in Ukraine.
This time, BKC purchased baby food for 38 children below three years old from forcibly displaced and low-income families living in Kharkiv and Kharkiv Oblast, one of the most affected regions. We also provided financial aid of UAH 3,000 per family to purchase essentials for 9 families of children with disabilities. The total help provided is UAH 76400 (USD 2089.22).
More than 1.5 years of war and humanitarian crisis have left children in Ukraine encountering safety concerns, hardship and uncertainty. Many conflict-affected families face hunger as they struggle to provide the basics for their children. Our organisation receives multiple requests for help from vulnerable families - forcibly displaced families, those from single-parent households and families raising children with disabilities.
We are very grateful for your support of our vulnerable children - thank you for helping them get through the darkest times!
Warm regards,
Natalie Blinder
