By Hayeon Yu | Greetings from Mongolia (4th)
Hi, we are U9Change, an international NPO volunteer organization.
We meet children from around the world who are suffering from poverty and inequality, and help treat diseases.
We would like to share the latest news from the beautiful land of vast steppes and starry skies, Mongolia.
Many households in Mongolia experience freezing winters and use traditional heating methods such as stoves. Due to the lack of safety measures to prevent children from approaching such heating methods, they are prone to getting burns.
In June 2024, we will be going to Mongolia to support the surgery and treatment of young burn patients. With the help of our donors, we will be collaborating with the Bayanzurkh District Office, Khon Khor Health Center, and the National Burns Centre to distribute moisturizers and conduct surgeries, with the help of our donors.
We plan to continuously provide moisturizers to around 500 burn patients and perform surgeries on three children, starting from June.
We are always striving for a brighter future for Mongolian burn patients.
Again, we sincerely thank all the donors who have supported us to help the burned children in Mongolia. We look forward to bringing you more positive news in the future.
