By Kirsten Rachman | Assistant Project Manager
Dear Friends,
The rainy season has now come to end in Tanzania, enabling us to continue our work on the ground that you so generously help fund.
There is much exciting progress to report on from Terrat this quarter! We are starting to solarise the community dairy: as well as providing an important source of income for the village, the dairy will have a large solar array as part of the system design. This will provide consistent and reliable power. This new solar array will also allow us to provide more reliable power to the local community radio station, ORS FM, which has been a vital source of public health information to the nomadic Maasai tribes in the surrounding area.
As ever, please do feel free to share this project with friends and family - we and the people of Terrat, Tanzania will be very grateful.
Kind regards,
Kirsten and the SVRG Team
