Every year in November, UAEM holds Access to Medicines Week aroound the globe. It is one week, packed with actions, during wwhich our chapters across the different continents are buzzing with excitement to raise awareness and educate others on the importance of affordable access to medicines.

This year was no less! Under the theme of Transparency, our global campaign, different chapters came up with the most wonderful creative ideas and carried out a number of activities on campus to highlight the need for more university engagement in making the products of research more accessible and hence, impacting the way medicines is made accessible to people in need. From quizzes to mystery games, to public panel discussions and on-campus activism, the array of activities was wide and catered for many audiences. Do also check out this video compiling pictures of UAEMers around the world doing everyday UAEM stuff.

Thank you for supporting our young people, giving them the motivation to be active citizens and to be agents of change. Your support goes a long way.
