During this season of giving, why not give a gift that changes lives? Aid Afghanistan for Education has 13 schools in 9 provinces that provide a 12-month, accelerated curriculum for over 3000 students who cannot enter the state-supported school system, perhaps because they are older than traditional school children. Many of the students are mothers who will educate their sons and daughters and strengthen their communities. Educated, healthy mothers are more likely to raise sons and daughters who will build rather than destroy.
Aid Afghanistan for Education is one example of the 8 projects that comprise The Safer World Fund. Lives will be changed through education, health care, and training for women and children in Afghanistan and Pakistan. You can enhance the power of your giving by taking advantage of matching funds now. Your $100 donation will be matched with $50 to support a teacher for a month. For that special person who has everything, consider a gift card, offering the recipient the choice of which cause they want to support. Suggestions of The Safer World Fund or any of its 8 projects are encouraged!
Best wishes for a life-changing December,
Joyce Manchester
