Under Alkhidmat's Income Generation Program, we empower women to establish dignified startups, including tailoring, cooking, and beauty parlors. In 2023 alone, 2,917 individuals benefited from interest-free loans worth PKR 177 million, becoming self-reliant. This project focuses on skill development and financial support to help women achieve sustainable livelihoods, transforming their lives and fostering economic independence in underserved communities
Many women in underserved communities lack access to skills, resources, and financial support needed to earn a sustainable livelihood. Social and economic barriers often limit their opportunities, leaving them trapped in poverty and dependency. Without practical training or startup assistance, their potential remains untapped. This project addresses these challenges by providing skill development, tools, and interest-free financial aid to empower women to start thier own startups.
This project will provide women with hands-on training in skills like tailoring, cooking, and beauty services, equipping them to start sustainable businesses. It will also offer interest-free loans and resources, such as sewing machines, carts, and salon setups, enabling them to establish dignified livelihoods. By fostering financial independence and breaking social barriers, the project empowers women to support their families, contribute to their communities, and break the cycle of poverty.
