mpowering Women Through Skills: Alkhidmat Skill Development Center – Multan
Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, with generous support from the Mussarat Naheed Foundation Australia, has established a Skill Development Center in Multan dedicated to empowering underprivileged women through vocational training.
Currently, 15 female students, including widows and orphans, are enrolled in the program where they are learning sewing and tailoring skills. This initiative is not only equipping them with practical skills for income generation but also fostering independence, dignity, and hope for a brighter future.
The center serves as a safe and supportive environment where women from marginalized backgrounds can build a path toward economic self-reliance.
Alkhidmat remains committed to UN SDG 5: Gender Equality and UN SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth.
