The children and young adults with autism from our Special School Program continue improving their language, social and self help abilities, from home through their online clases. All of them has proved significant progress, specially, student Alejandro Urbina.
Alex, who is 11 years old, have managed to decrease the frequency of pressing his fingers against his eyes, he can do more activities independently and identify one part oh his body without help (he can identify his head). Besides, he has managed to have more control of his fine and thick movements, therefore, he can do better activities like coloring, cutting and tracing.
On the other hand, we celebrate the work, commitment and love that teachers and psychologists of our organization provide to children and young adults with ASD, during National Teacher´s Day and National Psychologist´s Day. On July 5th, our first fase-to-face activity will begin since the COVID-19 pandemic began: The Inclusive Summer Camp where neurotypical and with autism children, will be able to enjoy activities such as cooking, story-tellers, yoga, tae kwon do, etc.
We thank you all of our donors for helping us to continue to provide remote therapy sessions to 28 children with autism.
