Education is key to prosperity. Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan is committed to ensuring every child has access to education. Through free schooling and rehabilitation, we support vulnerable children in need. Our Child Protection Center in Gilgit provides a safe environment, quality education, and essential resources to help children thrive. Join us in transforming lives and building a brighter future for underprivileged children in Pakistan
Pakistan's literacy rate stands at just 56%, leaving nearly half the population illiterate. According to the PIE Statistics Report 2021-22, 26.2 million children, predominantly girls, remain out of school. This education gap perpetuates poverty, curtails opportunities for social and economic progress, and deepens inequality. Being a remote area, Gilgit faces additional challenges, including inadequate educational infrastructure, limited resources, and socio-economic barriers.
This project will support Child Protection Center in Gilgit, providing free education, rehabilitation, and a safe learning environment for vulnerable children. It will offer essential resources such as classrooms, chairs, and educational kits to create a conducive learning space. By addressing socio-economic barriers, promoting gender equality, and ensuring quality education, the project will help break the cycle of poverty and empower children with the skills needed for a brighter future.
The project will create lasting change by empowering vulnerable children in Gilgit with education and life skills. By providing a safe, supportive environment, it will help break the cycle of poverty, promote gender equality, and enable children to contribute to their communities as educated, skilled individuals.
