School Supplies Distribution for Street Children
Bringing Hope, One Backpack at a Time
Alkhidmat Foundation recently organized a School Supplies Distribution Drive for street children, ensuring that vulnerable and underserved kids get the tools they need to continue their educational journey with dignity and confidence. The distributed kits included school bags, notebooks, pencils, uniforms, shoes, and hygiene items—essentials that many of these children would otherwise go without.
This initiative is part of Alkhidmat’s broader commitment to uplifting out-of-school children through its 86 Child Protection Centers (CPCs) and 23 School Huts operating across Pakistan. These centers not only provide basic education, but also meals, counseling, life skills, and protection services, offering children a safe path away from the streets and toward a brighter future.
Aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals:
SDG 4 – Quality Education: Ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education for all.
SDG 1 – No Poverty: Tackling generational poverty through access to learning.
SDG 10 – Reduced Inequalities: Giving marginalized children an equal chance to succeed.
Acknowledgment:
We are deeply thankful to our generous donors, volunteers, and supporters—especially through GlobalGiving—whose continued compassion helps make this transformative work possible. Together, we are nurturing futures and breaking the cycle of poverty through education.
