Thar and Cholistan, the most remote and underdeveloped desert regions of Pakistan, lack access to basic necessities, including education. In many parts of rural Sindh, children have no schools within a 5-15 km radius, while some areas have school buildings but no teachers. As a result, generations remain trapped in illiteracy. Alkhidmat has established 23 hut schools, providing teachers and learning resources to 830 students. Without intervention, this generation, will remain illiterate.
This project will provide free education to 830 children in Thar and Cholistan by operating 23 hut schools in remote villages. Alkhidmat will recruit and pay qualified teachers, ensuring consistent learning. Villagers provide the school huts, while we supply essential learning materials. By bringing education to areas with no schools, we break the cycle of illiteracy, giving children the knowledge and skills they need for a better future.
