Dear Friends
Kids from difficult places need the stability and support offered by being in the healthy and appropriate school environment.
Because of their early childhood experiences they already have significantly fewer 'natural' opportunities to succeed. Accessing the right support at the right time is a difficult challenge to overcome. They need every bit of support we can generate to get them through this pivotal phase in their lives.
We currently utilise 6 different schools, each geared to meet the specific learning needs of the children who attend there. We transport the learners daily, making sure they each have a decent lunch pack (schools do not give lunch to learners here). Homework is done with support in our Village and we do all we can to ensure the children never feel 'less than' their peers by being unable to participate in the activities on offer.
