We're heading into an exciting summer at Stories Change Power!
Last week, we joined public interest communications educators and students from across the country for two days of sharing research, ideas, and inspiration. Take a look at this post on LinkedIn to see how "change" is central - literally - to our work in communications.
Bridge building is also core to approach, which is why we're one of the 300+ organizations in the Braver Angels Network. Later this month, we'll head to the Braver Angels Convention where "reds" and "blues" from across the country will come together to build more hope and lessen current polarization.
In July, we'll host our first in-person learning opportunity. Like the online cohorts you have supported, this in-person group will learn our people-centered, data-infromed, and research-backed approach to advocacy communications. In addition to broadening their network with peers in the cohort, they will have the option to be matched with a mentor to support them for one year.
If you know anyone who could benefit from joining us in Washington, DC next month, please encourage them to apply by Friday, June 14.
Thank you for supporting us in supporting others. Skillful advocacy is essential to the just, equitable, and peaceful world we all want to see.
With hope for our shared future,
Piper
