A Story about Dan Dan

By Rici Team | Rici Team

Dandan is an adorable and vivacious fourth grade student. When Mr. Cheng met her in the spring semester, she was not only a poor performer at school but has a low self-esteem when it comes to learning. “When those kids lack self-confidence, there is no motivation to do anything.” said by Mr. Cheng. “I need to find a way to help her out, that’s the main reason why I apply this curriculum in this term.”

In order to assist her, Mr. Cheng chose “be bold and express what you think” as a breakthrough in the class. By motivating Dandan to participate in course interaction, he talk about her ideas as well as take her work seriously.

Before long, Dandan is increasingly getting better in school as well as willing to communicate with people around. This is also the time when Mr. Cheng finds out why she always has no confidence and low self-esteem –the critical and picky parents who are demanding too much for her grade.

Since then, Mr. Cheng would give more guidance to Dandan on her Meth, composition as well as English. In the past exams, her grades has improved a lot, which also made her have the satisfaction of doing better.

Faculty applications for the spring 2022 semester are now closed, serving a total of approximately 1,600 faculty and approximately 98,000 students. Curriculum kits have been distributed in about 7 provinces across the country, and the project team has organized the sign-off process and regular follow-up.

Thanks to your financial support, we are able to continue to expand this program and provide a better life for more rural children like Dandan. Monthly donations can help us maximize our ability to develop curriculum and help children in rural areas. Every bit of your donation makes a difference!
