The PFK team is in the final stages of preparing for our annual mission trip to Myanmar and serving 500 kids with backpacks filled withe school supplies and a school uniform.
Our cargo of love has been shipped out by our wonderful cargo sponsor, Cathay Pacific Airways, and should arrive in Asia in a few days. Donated pens, journals, erasers and toothbrushes were shipped and the remaining school supplies of pencils, color pencils, notebooks, pencil cases, rulers, drawing pads, color markers, pencil sharpeners and more will be purchased locally in Yangon.
Our school uniforms have been ordered and will be ready when we arrive at end of month. For the orphan girls living in monastic nunneries, we have paid the Nuns to make new monastic robes for the girls...so the girls recieve new robes, and the Nuns receive an income that will better assist the girls they so lovingly care for.
PFK has our annual charity Golf Classic in one week, and some of the proceeds will help fund this year's mission trip to Myanmar. We are very excited and looking forward to a great day with 100+ golfers...all coming out to help the kids! Fantastic!
