Location: Rohingya Refugee Camps, Bangladesh
Number of Beneficiaries: 200
Year 2020

1. Project Overview

Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan conducted a dry ration distribution project to support Rohingya Muslim refugees residing in camps in Bangladesh. This initiative aimed to provide immediate relief to vulnerable families facing severe food shortages and to help alleviate the daily struggles of refugees living in challenging conditions.

2. Project Activities

  • Procurement of Dry Ration: Essential food items, including rice, lentils, cooking oil, and other staples, were procured to create ration packages tailored to meet the immediate nutritional needs of the beneficiaries.
  • Distribution: The ration packs were distributed to 200 individuals in Rohingya refugee camps, ensuring equitable access to food for some of the most vulnerable members of the community.

3. Impact

  • Food Security for 200 Individuals: This distribution provided vital food supplies to 200 Rohingya Muslims, helping to reduce hunger and support their nutritional needs for the short term.
  • Community Support: The project strengthened Alkhidmat Foundation's commitment to supporting marginalized communities and demonstrated solidarity with the Rohingya people during a time of crisis.

4. Conclusion

The dry ration distribution project brought immediate relief to 200 Rohingya Muslims in Bangladesh, offering them the basic food security they desperately needed. This initiative is a small but significant step towards supporting displaced communities in their struggle for survival and dignity.
