The 6th Graduation ceremony was held in Gulu!

The sixth graduation was held on 30th/Nov/2022 with a total of 51 graduands in attendance. The event was unique, combining students who qualified in the 9th and 10th intakes.

This occurred because of the Covid-19 pandemic that affected the planned graduation of the 9th intake, and the 6th graduation was a hybrid event due to the spread of Ebola disease at the time in Uganda, making the event only limited to attendance of graduands and a few invited guests in accordance with the precautionary measures to observe health safety and prevent the further spread of the disease.

The chief guest was Sheikh Musa Khelil, who is a founder member of the Acholi Leaders Peace Initiative that was instrumental in the Peace negotiations between the LRA and the government of Uganda

Of those who graduated, twenty-one (21) were 9th intake and thirty(30) from the 10th intake, with twenty(20) males and thirty-one (31) females.

The graduates congratulated each other and their fellows and will continue working hard in their businesses. Terra Renaissance continues to follow up with them.

As the year changed this January, we also made a new start in vocational training for the 11th class. Each of the 11th trainees is working hard in their vocational training to earn an income and make a living on their own, just like the graduands.

We would like to express our gratitude to all of you for your daily support. Please stay tuned for more updates on how their lives are changing!
