Dear Friend,
Thank you very much for your generous support to our project improving the biodiversity of our rainforest. This reporting period we continue to promote the growing and culture of heirloom crops comprising vegetables, root crops and fruit and timber trees. These crops have tremendous value in terms of increasing biodiversity but they are slowly lost and taken for granted as they are replaced by hybrid varieties. There is a need to continually promote them. In our experience we found out that they resist insect and pest infestation and they are climate-resilient. They taste a lot better too in the case of vegetables. We plan to produce seedlings and seeds in large quantities and provide them to farmers. Hoping for your continuing support to this initiative.
