Dear Friends,
We are pleased to report the first shipment of donated medications to arrive in Benin from a USA non-profit organization! This arrangement was many months in the making and we are grateful for the goodwill and patience all around to make this procurement happen. We completed the first ever contract in French!
Thank you for your continued support. Donated medications are very helpful but will be limited to what is available at the time of request. Association Saint-Camille (ASC) will continue to buy medications but any defrayment in costs will help fund other much needed programs and personnel. The budget for treating patients in 4 countries remains over 1 million dollars. This shipment contained both psychiatric and general health medications as requested by ASC. We will continue to support the mission of ASC to provide psychiatric, general medical, and maternity healthcare to those seeking services. Many thanks to donors and partners for changing lives.
