As of November 20th, donations to this project have funded 22 water well systems complete with pumps and cement platforms where local villagers can access clean drinking and cooking water, wash dishes and cloths, and even take baths. 2 of these villages were leper colonies. These wells, constucted right in the villages, literally change the lives of these villagers who typically have to spend hours every day walking miles to access water from open and polluted ponds. With the clean water right in their villages, they will heal from the various diseases attributed to drinking contaminated water. We can't fullly express the gratitude coming from these humble people many of whom openly express their gratitude to the generous donors from America who have blessed them with clean water to drink, accessable righ in their villages, for decades to come.
